Badi Assad Guitar

In the fall of 1997 Badi toured New Mexico and performed to a sold out crowd at the University of New Mexico.  She stopped by the shop to play some of our guitars, she fall in love with the tone and craftsmanship and asked if one could be built to her specifications.

The new "BADI GRAND CONCERT CUTAWAY CLASSICAL GUITAR" was built with Fishman electronics, microphone transducer combination. The woods used are East Indian Rosewood back and sides, European German Spruce top, Gaboon Ebony fingerboard, Rosewood bridge and Spanish Cedar neck.  Custom Inlay consists of Coral rose, Turquoise leaves, Abalone stem and Mother of Pearl "Badi". Rosette is custom designed with Silver inserts.
